Excel National Bank of Beverly Hills has been granted "Super Premier" status - the highest honor granted -- by The Findley Reports, a nationally recognized bank research and rating firm. Out of 284 business banks in California, only 55 can make that claim. Qualifying banks are awarded one of three rankings -- Super Premier, Premier or Commendable -- based on their financial performance. In order to qualify, banks must be classed as "A-Quality" in terms of financial solvency, public trust and worthiness. Super Premier and Premier status are based on an institution's ability to meet predetermined criteria in growth net operating income, net loan loss and equity return. The Findley Reports establishes the benchmarking criteria at the start of each year so that institutions may gauge their individual operating performance.
